Forest Road Hurstville Intersection Upgrade
Client: Georges River Council
Project Valuation: $1 - 5 Million
Project Status: Completed
Key construction elements included:
- Identification of all underground utility services within the works area
- Liaison and stakeholder management with multiple service asset authorities
- Relocation of two existing power poles and transfer of new/existing power lines
- Installation of additional street lighting in accordance with Ausgrid specifications.
- Installation of traffic signals as per the TfNSW approved specifications.
- Removal of existing drainage structures
- Removal of Kerbs and existing road pavement
- Clear, grub and management of site materials
- Excavate and dispose of site materials including acid sulphate soils
- Mill and Re-sheet of AC14-AR450 wearing course and AC20–AR450 deep lift asphalt to Approx area of 7000m2
- Installation of associated signage and line marking.
- Construction of concrete median islands
- Installation pram ramps, kerb and gutter and concrete footpath to TfNSW specifications
- Construction of new tree pits and re-planting of existing trees into pits
- Reconstruction of existing stormwater drainage
- Associated work health and safety, quality management, and inspection test planning.
- Traffic management in accordance with G10 specifications
