New South Head Road Rosebay Cycleway & Pedestrian Path Upgrade

Key construction elements included:

  • Widening of the existing footpath to up to 5m wide, to accommodate dual way cycleway and 2.5m footpath
  • Adjustments to Stormwater drainage to suit new widened footpaths
  • Resurfacing of 3000m2 of existing asphalt footpath
  • Construction of 1.3km of dual-way cycleway
  • Upgrades to 42 streetlights and associated electrical works
  • Installation of cobblestone separate between cycleway and footpath pavements
  • Installation of granite paver border surrounding footpath pavement
  • Adjustment of utility services including a Jemena High-Pressure regulator pit
  • Traffic control Management
